I was just curious to know what are this forum member's jobs and professions? What do they do for a living. We all know about hobbies, favourite books and weapons, but not this more 'realistic' stuff.

I'll start by saying that though I haven't gone to university, I now work as a senior highschool History teacher in Mexico City.

But my main activity is proefessional singing. I've studied and practised singing since I remember and I do frequent concerts and sing in baroque operas with my mother's baroque opera company and some other institutions around here.

How I manage to have so much time to post here, I don't know! :D [IMG]

Good to hear from you! I think almost all the students have something to do with History... [IMG]

Stefan, weren't you going to make some military career or something?

Tank, what do I need ANOTHER monkey? I already live with a blonde Arab-Mexican one... [IMG]

Yeah, I am currently going through the selection process for an army officer bursary to see me through uni, though I haven't heard from them in a while, I hope they haven't forgotten me.

Actually, I think the most obvious answer to the wuestion is 'as little as possible'.

    Don't worry Knight, nobodies perfect.

Thanks for that Freddy, but I don't plan on getting killed by my own people for my beliefs, though come to think about it that wouldnt be too hard these days...

Stefan, if you choose being in the British military is much rather probable to get killed by some Allied 'friendly' fire... so watch your back! [IMG]

Student here... :D I've been wanting to study WW2 in school for a while, but my history "specialist" insists that we go over the past reasons for WW2 (spanning back to the Middle Ages and the Crusades). So right now, I'm yawning through a bunch of stuff I have no interest in. As for real hobbies, mostly girls, writing (poetry or fiction...dont ask for any), I've been playing piano for almost 8 years and I play Irish music with my family.

Blimey I must have been gone for a while. It's me Freddy, Jet. I've been away for a few months working and I had a few operations because of my slightly cleft lip and my computer snuffed it so I had to get another one. but thanks, its good to be back ;)

I have the wonderful privelege of teaching 7th graders (12-13 yr olds) the History of the World from the Byzantine Empire through the Industrial Revolution in Europe. Right now we are about to study Ancient China, Japan and India. The Dyanasties, Samurais, Shoguns, Moguls, I can't wait! (I betcha they can).

When I am not doing that, or reading, I am Hunting Deer in the Fall, playing video games and surfing the Net in the Winter, Fly Fishing for trout in the Spring and (my favourite) fishing the Summer away for the greatest underwater freshwater predator in the Western Hemisphere, the Largemouth Bass.

    Later

    PS: Happy Holidays
