A country pub in the middle of Ireland, full of irishmen cheering for croatia...

    And then enters the Baron...

Luckily for him all the irishgirls supported england!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HENRY finally netted a goal. And another one (in his classic style). [IMG] Very happy with that. Easy game against Greece, though England V. POR is gonna be interesting to watch.

Russia was busted after game 2. The game vs. Greece was meaningless - Greeks were thru even though they lost. [IMG]

Hitstorian, Red Baron, sacralige, how could you....Are you both mad, if it wasn't for football how would that great, wonderous awe inspiring ww2 movie Escape to Athenia have been made? Shocking you cannot equate soccer with our love of world war 2....Both similar in most respects to England of today and ww2, both see early losses by the professionals having to leave the continent many many times, but send the youngsters back again angry young men, to show what we are made of and thats just the fans....You dont see any similarities?

Eng-er-land....If it wasnt for us youd all be speaking German now seems to be a big shout over there now...makes a change from the Americans telling us that....Hey I'm off to buy a flag...Is Johnny Wilkonson still playing then?

    Urghagain,

My hatred of football does not apply to internatinal tournaments...

I have even shaved my head and had a union jack tatooed on my forehead. It looks rather fetching...

Two World Wars and one World Cup... Do Dah, Do Dah...

My team is out :( , so I vote for Portugal ... it'd be nice for the "golden team" to live up to the title.

Well, the Germans were a bit unlucky but then again they did not play as well as they should have in order to proceed in the Euro games.

OK, my next teams are the Dutch and the Czechs. But usually the Swedes are pretty "lucky" in everything they do so watch out for them!!

Red seeing as you are in Ireland good like with the tattoo. see how long you last!!

As for 2 world wars and a world cup... true and now they are out as well. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

What is worse though is i work in a portuguese retaurent. We have put up england flags hoping that if we lose we won't get trashed.
