geez the clash? beatles? you guys are making me feel freakin young haha. Im kidding...im really into classic rock...beatles, doors, zeppelin, floyd, clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn...etc. well really SRV wasnt classic...he was here in the 80s...guess thats classic enough for me since i was born in jan of 84. today actually ! i listen to everything though from classical, to jazz, to metal...last concert i went to was a band called Soilwork, from Sweden..accompanied by Threat Signal and Mnemic(sp?). Im hopefully going to see a couple more before this month is over.
Shakira was quite inspiring... ...a very good show and several hits. Next something quite different...Nine Inch Nails in early April!
Oh man, I'm so bummed out I can't go see NIN, cuz I'm in the army now (wouooo, I'm in the army, no-ow ). I saw them at Provinssirock 2005, it was a damn good show, even if Reznor didn't say one single word to the audience between songs . Have a great time Kai!
Sure man! Like " head like a hole" style... Just wish Killing joke would make a gig here. They did cancel their last one just a day before the show...that is *^*^*!
Wow, NIN, that would be fabulous. Trent Reznor lives about an hour and a half away from here, or so I'm told. I know it's not live in person, but I was impressed by Korn's MTV unplugged. I thought they did quite an admirable job of turning their heavy stuff into something, well, different. And the guest appearances were quite good also with the singers from Evenescence and The Cure making appearances.
Saw the Alvarez Kings the other dy, they were great. Faly new band but getting bigger and bigger over here.
The Rolling Stones are coming to Finland this summer (again ). Hope I get a ticket there, always great going in their concert.
Incredible. Evanescence coming to Finland in June, and Rush perhaps in October? What´s happening to these bands because they are coming to Finland now? Only The Police plays two gigs in Stockholm Sweden and won´t come to Finland...Even George Michael will play here 1st August.
On Tuesday Nine Inch Nails. The last gig of the tour but quite an excellent gig finishing with " Head like a hole"... Trent definitely has the raw energy to make the crowd go wild. I hope Trent will keep his promise as he said he will be back.
Nothing about a gig I´ve been to unfortunately but there´s nothing like " ace of spades" by Motörhead to cheer you up in the morning.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqtNGkSzh1o
Last night Evanescence. Great music with the new band. Unfortunately only a 1 hour show so that was a disappointment. ( ticket prices were lower than normal so I guess that explains it a bit ).
On saturdaý Gary Moore here in Finland. Great music and great guitar riffs. Also the weather was wonderful so ( and the beer cold ) so an excellent weeked!!
