Just read in the news ( local ) that Litvinenko got over ten times the amount of Polonium-210 that would kill you!

Also that the British Police has evaluated that this amount of Polonium cost some 8 million Euros!!!

Quite a bargain for the huge wave of fear transmitted to a particular group and international long-term coverage by state and major news organisations...that is of course if the intention was a warning.

If it helps, I'm currently sitting in the hospital he was in when he first fell ill and was talking to one of the doctors here who was a 'colleague' of his in Russia, if you catch my drift.

So if I vanish, you'll all know why...

Well, it makes reading in bed easier ;)

The funny thing is, I started a week after my office was checked for radiation, turns out it's safe but its still a bit, well, odd.

Johnny Depp is making a film about a former Russian spy whose poisoning death in London has touched off an international mystery, the trade magazine Variety reported.

Warner Bros. has bought the rights to a book about Alexander Litvinenko for Depp's production company, Infinitum Nihil, the magazine reported Friday. Depp will produce the film and could star in it, the report said.

Read an article that Scotland Yard knows who is responsible for Litvinenko's death ........ they are just not announcing it yet.

I was watching the news tonight and they arrested a guy in Georgia of the former USSR who had samples of Uranium in his pockets. He was giving the samples during a bidding process and the highest bidder got a larger stash he had. He just carried the stuff in his pockets in plastic baggies. I guess he did not know the stuff was radioactice but I am sure he will get an education soon.

They said the CIA and FBI and atomic energy commision had agents in the country to cooperate with the local police.

Just think of all the nuclear warheads that were located in the "reborn" countries ( 1991 and forward ) that used to be the USSR. Just exactly where are they now....? Actually I don´t want to think about it!

As far as I know all the nukes in Ukrainian, Khazak, etc. territory went back to the Russian Federation per treaty.

As for the guy with uranium in his pockets, I hope he never thinks of joining all the bags, lest he goes critical! In any case, I don't think that was the best idea, a China Syndrome starting near anyone's balls is never a good thing.

The specialists on the case claimed that the murderer himself must have gotten Polonium in himself so that he ( or she ) will die within three years...

The victim got contaminated by polonium poured in a cup of tea. I wouldn't want to be the next custommer to drink from that cup, even after years.
