what do you mean by that? from the perspective of the Germans and Japs? That kinda game would be hard - they did loose the war afterall, so it would be hard to have connected missions. As the player, you have to survive - accomplish the mission - but thats hard to do when you are the one on retreat. Get what i mean?

Truely an awesome game. I love sniping with the Mosin Nagant or charging in with a PPsH [IMG] I have a blast playing it my friends house online, my 56k sucks online and thus I cannot be much of a threat when I am shooting behind my enemies :p

The lost the war in the real world, but in the video game world anything can happen. I would really like to see more German side FPS games.

Yeah Kaiser I don't know how well any countries would respond to themselves shooting their countrymen, but with today's youth you never know, they might think it's a cool game and just go for it.

I've been waiting for this game for so long! It looks like it may be the best World War 2 game yet.

Well, i got this game for christmas, and have now beaten the Single Player aspect of the game.

Although the SP is short, i must say

THIS IS THE BEST 1ST PERSON WW2 SHOOTER OUT THERE.

The levels are GREAT, my personal favorites are the Stalingrad and Berlin Missions playing as the Russians.

The coolest part, the last level.

    You storm the Reichstag,

    now that is frickin cool

I like the American missions the best, and Pegasus Bridge.

However this game truly shines in multiplayer!

I give it [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] out of 5

DC is icky, and bad. Forgotton Hope is the ultimate mod. It is a WW2 realism mod..BF1942 is still my favorite game, but CoD is cool.

And Im not into the whole clan thing, I am in the Battle For Europe call of duty tourney.

Well, I own Call of Duty and I completed the game in the first 10 days, I prefered the maps in multiplayer on Medal of Honour Allied Assault Spearhead ..... However, the game is more realistic and the missions were better, regardless of easiness.... And it included a weapon which I wish could take M1Garand's place, the M1A1 Carbine.

I did enjoy Call of Duty but there was not much freedom in it. Alot of scripted scenes that were fun (stuff like Pegasus Bridge etc) but involved little thought. There was no real desicions on which way to go, you never got lost etc.

Very engaging and cinematic but, as a direct result of this, fairly rigid in what you were allowed to do.

Enemy AI in the single player was very impressive, most realistic behaviour I've seen I think, running away from grenades you've tossed or even tossing them back. Good stuff. Excellent use of music, starting it up and increasing the volume as you get to the end of scene.

Far too short though! I borrowed a copy just to play the single player through, I would have been very hacked off if I had paid for less then 10 hours play. That said the multiplayer sounds very good and am tempted to buy it just for that.

Agree with Leitung Panzer about Battlefield, Forgotton Hope is the best mod for BF and DC aint no good!

I recently finished Call of Duty and I have to say it is the best WW2 shooting game I've ever played. The AI was challenging and it was interesting to play as the Americans, Brititsh, and Russians.

The graphics and storyline were equally impressive. I must say I really enjoyed playing as the Russians. It took me a little while to figure out surviving in Pavlov's House. Talk about brutal hand to hand combat! I thought Storming the Reichstag was great.

My only reget was the game went by too fast. Where is the COD add on???

Try multiplayer online. You'll never look back (human opponents are a different ball game). All you need is a 56k connection (Though broad band is best).

Just dial up, load up the multiplayer mode n' click on a server.

Warning: May cause a strain on your marriage :D
