I bet he would have refused to recognize the authority of the trials and ignored the entire proceedings. I think the worse punishment we could have given him was life in prison. Let him see himself ridiculed and despised. Let him see his own people back peddle and shift the blame out of shame of what they had done. Hitler was self destructive as the end shows, the worst punishment would be denying him his final destruction.

I agree with you on this one Za, Hitler stuffed up on the war so one more stuff up on his failed suicide attemps is par for the course, a sorta continuation of his poor track record on things past, but seriously he would have faced the Nuremburg tials and in his mental state maybe just maybe he would be given life.

The Russian soldiers would get some pretty good photographs of them capturing one of the most evil men in History.

In my mind I imagine that Hitler and Saddam were much alike.
Of course I've heard that Saddam patterned himself after Hitler.

And heavily influenced by the Arab socialist experiments in Nasser's Egypt and Assad's Syria, plus his own ideas on how to run a dictatorship and survive.

Remember his cherubim Uday and Qusay? :(

I have the answer after all. Hitler did not commit suicide after all, he was bumped off by the OSS or KGB or SOE.

Due to the way he ran the war, the only possibility is that he was an agent for one of these august bodies, and he was silenced as nobody wanted to own up to him and have him spill the beans in a public trial :D

Absolutely loved that one, that's pure gold, but damn that makes a frightening senario though as they say on Mythbusters, its plausible.

    Roosevelt could do most anything.
He got the Empire of Japan to attack Pearl Harbor on the exact day to sink only the ships that needed to be sunk as to drag the US into war without totally crippling the Pacific Fleet and got everyone involved to keep their collective mouths shut.:eh: And he made it look like he didn't see it coming.:circlejerk:

Genius, sheer genius, that Fankie D.
