    Hi everybody!
My name is Erik, I'm going 16 this month and I live in Stockholm, Sweden!
I'm a big WWII "nerd" and "my part" of the war is the European Theater, D-day mostly. I've been to Normandie 3 times and my family is tired of going there so I'm planning a roadtrip to France when I'm 19 with some friends.
Found the site when I googled WWII Forums. I have already found some very interesting threads and I plan to stay here for a while! :)

Howdy Halldin, glad to have you.

Speak for yourself, Felis catus. I'm no nerd. Geek maybe, due to my profession, but certainly not a nerd.:nerd: :stickpoke:

Since I don't know where I should ask this, I'll do it in my own thread:
Is there no PM on this site? Can't find it anywhere.
And I wanna create a thread where I need some help identifying an object from WWII, but I also want to talk about the place where I found it, in which section should I do that?

Yes there is a PM function, click on the member name and select send private message. Though, you're a recruit so it will be limited.
As for the other question, that would probably be the militaria section.
    Oh, I almost forgot, Welcome!

Thanks for the answer. Don't want to make a fool out of myself in my first thread.
    EDIT: Eh, second thread.

Cheers and Welcome Erik! Glad to have you with us. We are a Forum full of WWII nerds, so don't feel bad. :D

As for the PM restrictions, we have many problems with spamming members and the like, so we have instituted a short trial period for all new members. Once you have been a member for 3 days and have made 5 posts, you will get access to the messaging system. I can see that you aren't a spammer so even though you have one more day in your trial I've fully activated your account and you can now message whoever you like. ;) Cheers!
