Hey, I'm new to these forums, I'm trying to learn more about the war, so hopefully i'll learn a lot from you guys.

Side Note, is there a way that I can put my forums link on my profile or is there a place where I can provide a link, to try to get a few new members.

If anyone can do it for me the link is GeneralForum.com - General Forum - Forums about anything and everything!

If i am not allowed to post a link I apologize and delete it from my thread.

Welcome to the WWII Forums Ilmago. :salute: You picked a great place to learn about WWII.

Links to other sites are ok but you need to put them in your signature. As a new member ( a "recruit" ) you don't have full access to this forums features yet, but as you participate your account will be automatically upgraded to "Member" status, and your signature will be available to you.

As a rule, joining the Forums for the sole purpose of flogging of anything (websites, products etc.) is frowned upon here.

Sorry guys I haven't had much time to post a lot on these forums since I've been busy with work.

Thanks for the welcome guys I really appreciate the warm welcome.

Hopefully i'll become more active in the next couple of weeks.

If anyone is interested in joining my forums don't be shy to do so. Since a lot of you seem to know a lot about War and history.

My handle is Michael_Jordan on those forums to let you know.

Here's my first question to you World War 2 buffs, theres a lot of speculation on how many people died in the second world war, some say 50 million so say 60 million. What's the exact number of decise in the second World War?

hi to answer you precisely between germany, attacking poland, in september 1939 and the surrender of japan, in august 1945 2,174 days later the figure was 40 million plus for an exact breakdown see the world war two databook by john ellis hope this helps.
