So THATS where the survivors of the 1960's Nam War era-radical group known as the  "Black Panthers" ended up!! hillery clintons first boyfriend is on the left.

But seriously, and not trying to make a racial slur remark but, they look like Porters at some swank Hotel in London - or New York. Some of these places the staff wear shoulderboards. When I stayed at the Hotel Stiegenberger Esprix in Frankfurt, Germany back in 2000, I noticed that some of the staff there on their jackets, had golden twist shoulderboards that resembled some that British Generals wore during the Zulu War and the Wars in India.

If it weren't for the black shirts (what, Italian fascists now?) I'd dare say they look a lot like Naval uniforms

Very nice. I was expecting a new uniform or flag or something, that was awesome.

Those are not Russian army soldiers, that's obvious. They're probably bellhops at a hotel, no black person is going to join the Russian military. Russia is still very racist for the most part. This is supposed to be a joke? :)

    Agree completely!

These are not soldiers. They are most likely african students trying to make their way through school working either as security guards or most likely bellhops at the Cathrine Palace.

I remeber when I was in Russia, I approached an ice cream stand run by an African. Upon approaching him I almost starting speaking to him in English..... When he began speaking Russian, well...... you can imagine my amazement. :D

It does look like naval insignia they are wearing on the shoulders. On a similar note there is a picture of a soldier of African descent in formation of the Bundeswehr Guards Battalion (Wachtbataillon).

I was in Belgorod a few years ago and was waiting for a bus. A black man came up to the bus stop and I said in a most natural way "Yo bro", he looked at me like I was an alien. He didn't speak a word of english but he spoke Russian much better than me. He was from Angola and was going to school there in Belgorod.

Is it that surprising to see 'blacks' in Russian Uniform? Think of all the Asians they had fighting for them in WWII...and Russia does border the Mid East...a short trip from Africa (not to mention all the Arms they sell to Africa) Wait! Thats what it is! Those are two Arms-Dealers posing as Russians to get access to Russian Weapons!
