Hi everyone. My daughter got me into the computer about 10 yrs ago. Now they can't keep me off of it. I look up actors and actress' to find out about them and where they are now. One thing I do like about this is you sure meet alot of people on here. I imagine that everyone on here likes old movies about the wars, I hope one or more of you can help me find the movie I describe below. Iam looking for a movie I seen as a child, my parents and at the time three sisters watched war stories on Saturday nights before the hockey started. There is one movie I remember parts of they were on an island, and the Japanese were invading , all the women nurses were put in the bunker, when the enemy found them they were all shot but one because her two sisters fell on top of her. I don't know any of the actors names. If anyone can help me I would really like to find this movie. It is in black and white.
Welcome aboard Gramma5, Sounds like it might be based on the Banka Island Massacre and Vivian Bullwinkel : http://www.users.bigpond.com/battleforaustralia/JapWarCrimes/TenWarCrimes/Banka_Massacre.html http://www.angellpro.com.au/Bullwinkel.htm There's a 1997 film relating to it but that certainly doesn't fit the bill: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119859/usercomments Sorry that's not so much help, can you remember if the nurses in the film were portrayed as Australians? Cheers, Adam.
Welcome on the forum. This would possibly have been about the invasion of the Philippines or the Dutch West Indies in 1942.

Welcome Gramma5. There is an area of the forum where people discuss World War II movies. You may want to also post your question there. I hope you will find the information you are seeking.
