World War II Magazine has a good article this month on the emotional toll that the final month of the War had on GIs. Fighting on German soil and liberating the death camps brought a change in attitude and emotion and the article does a good job of capturing that. The article is also available on-line for those of you who do not subscribe. Here is the link:

Military History Magazine, a sister publication, also has an article on what it was like for German POWs after the War. The article focuses on the experiences of three specific German prisoners but it is an interesting read. Here is the link.

There are tons of unexploded bombs in Germany. Recently a man found 8 250lbs general purpose high explosive bombs. I am trying to find the article now.

Any one know Tech Sergeant Norman Perron from Massachusetts who died April 16th 1945. I believe he was with the ninth army.

    Thanks
