There is a gathering this weekend in Orlando, FL of children (Jewish children and the children of enemies of the Nazi state) who were evacuated out of Germany, Austria, Poland, etc. in the late 1930's. My family fostered an Austrian boy (at the time!) for the duration. Might get some details later if you are interested.
