    Is there a game out there where you can play the Wehrmacht on D-Day where you are in the bunkers above the beaches fighting the Americans? just curious.

    Maybe he would like to impersonate Maj. Werner Pluskat who stood agape when he saw the armada offshore and ran to the telephone shouting "Sie kommen! Sie kommen!"

    Either in the bunker or in a whorehouse, the latter would be much more comfy.

    Well, there is that one game, Za...:eek:

    In most WW2 games, you can typically play as the Germans in Multiplayer. The market for playing as the Germans in SinglePlayer is 0 - Nil.

    I think I've played a mod to the first Call of Duty but I'm not sure.

    In Cod 2 there is a German mod which changes the american to Germans and the Germans to Americans, but it is not the same.

    I have never seen a game that has only focused on the German side of the war, many which allow you play as a German such as COD, or Close combat, Combat mission and so on, but liks musso said most are multiplayer only.

    I think there should be games that focus on the German soldier, not the fanatical civilian killing SS but the standard Wehrmacht soldier and his life, just like the COD series but as a German. I think it would be good to learn both sides of the conflict, and to show that Germans were human that feared and many that hated the Nazis just as much as everyone else.

    Exactly...also, the feats of the Polish and French conquests are among the more..what's the word...spectacular? of the war's events.

    It would be interesting to play in the Wehrmacht with the Germans on the rise. Especially Barbarossa
