I know it's daunting... But at least at some points it will make you laugh :D

Please can some one list ALL the things that Hitler himself ever planned, in terms of inventions, or economic/political/social policies, or military operations (more of these :D)

    For instance:
Operation Barbarossa, the Final Solution, Anschluss (Union with Austria [annexation]), Allying with Japan instead of China, etc.

We aren't doing your homework for you here, and I am sure the information is available either on here or via Google already.

Why don't you compile a list of all the ideas of his you think there are and we can correct you or add new ones? Its a rather daunting task and doesn't accomplish anything for us even if it does help you out.

One thing that needs to be noted is that it may be impossible to tell which ideas were really Hitler's and which ones he stole.

It's not really daunting, if you just have one thing that you know that Hitler tried to incorporate into Nazi Germany then throw it in there. And I know the information is there, but I don't have the specifics to get to it, this is definitely not doing my homework, it's part of it actually to find resources to relocate you...

"One thing that needs to be noted is that it may be impossible to tell which ideas were really Hitler's and which ones he stole."

Originality doesn't matter, if he tried to incorporate them or planned to incorporate them into Nazi Germany they are valid.

Probably be better to give you a booklist to start with

Shirers the Third Reich and Hitlers own Mein Kampf would be good starting points...Ciano's diaries and if you can get some of the passages from Halders diaries then your onto a few years reading and hopefully an extension to handing in date.

Since everyone is trying to make it hard on you dusky, I'll throw you an easy one. Read up on "The Channel Dash." Maybe it's the only idea he had that worked out real well.

Mein Kampf should be the top of the list. Poorly written and full of venom, but the man does tell you what he thinks and why.

    Hi Triple C.

I have seen on a thread on another forum that Mein Kampf was actually written by another man. Hitler than just rewrite it and put his own words in.
Don't know how true it is though.

I think that Hitler dictated it to Rudoph Hess while both of them were in jail after the failed coup attempt. I could be wrong again though.

And for your golden bonus prize of a weeks paid for trip to the Munich beer festival...what was the intended name in Hitlers mind for his epic meanderings...?

Actually I think giving him or her a booklist is a great place to start.. Its a reasonable question but an unreasonable request...Unless I put down my new spaghettir twisting fork and concentrate on writing the lads essay myself, which would mean going hungry for a few weeks, he has to start reading....

That trip to the beer fest urqh, is that one way or round trip?

Ok dusky, here's another freebie....Hitler's decision to let the BEF get away. There are several reasons offered as to why this was allowed, but the buck stopped at his desk, and he made the final call....
