    I 'lifted' these from a March 20th 2001 post. Only these three pictures pertaining to Bataan amongst many. The first picture is of the surrender, the 2nd a "break" along the way and the 3rd I believe is one I'm seen before showing a burial detail after the march.

    I think the first picture is a surrender one from Corregidor. It could have been mislabeled. The third one was very commonly mis-labeled as the death march when it was in fact a burial detail after the march as you said.

    Salutes to them and those vets who are still with us.
