I've just installed this game, and it hasn't come with a hard copy of the isntruction manual. Instead, it has a link to a website with the manual on it. Annoyingly though, when I click the link it doesn't recognise the protocol, and I've tried downloading software to allow me to view it but they only seem to be compatible with 32bit and I have 64bit

I've tried going through the tutorials, but they're not really doing it for me. Does anyone have a PDF of the instructions, or at least a working link to them that they could share with me? Thanks a lot for any help; I really want to play this game and this is really frustrating!

Hey, I never read the instructions! :D
I suggest playing a game as Germany on easy settings, if if you get stuck, ask here! Most of the stuff in the manual is hard to imply effectively. Most of the good stuff is best stumbled accross while in game.

Play a game as Germany or USA, really, take your pick. That's how I learned. And believe it or not, the thick manual I have actually doesn't even cover everything.

Also, on your own, it's much better as it allows you to develop your own playing style and habits.

After you have played your first game, play the tutorials. Then you'll feel like an epiphany has just occurred.

OK - thanks for the help guys! I debated whether or not just to plunge in, but I figured the instructions would be some kind of help. Good to hear they're not! Right, now I'm off to go kick some ass :D
