Anyone pick up the new Glantz books yet?

Hi all,

Just seeing if anyone picked up the new Glantz books yet ("To the Gates of Stalingrad: Soviet-German Combat Operations April-August 1942" and "After Stalingrad: The Red Army's Winter Offensive 1942-43").

If so, what did you think? More readable Glantz (like the Glantz and House works typically are) or more like "Red Storm Over the Balkans" - great topic and interesting but a bit plodding and perhaps a bit too demanding of the reader.

I am thinking of picking up one or the other and was curious as to anyone's thoughts. One more thing, I have a fairly extensive knowledge of the 41-45 Soviet-German war so keep that in mind in regards to whether you think I would like it or not (i.e. do the books really break new ground for an informed reader).

As far as To the Gates... is concerned, i'm planning on buying it next week.

I have yet to get these books but still plan to-as soon as I quit spending all my spare cash trying to rescue important photos from being split apart. :-(
