Since this is another viewpoint about 911, I felt it was only appropriate here:

What do you expect with 8 years of a Republican?

I think the NYP article is about the new socialist President. And the current attitude of the political left in America.

America is in the process of being defeated by the muslim barbarians, and sometime this century, probably the first half, America will be dragged down by the Trojan Horse within its walls. The alpha male is old, worn out, and tired of the fight. The challengers are circling and snapping at the tendons.

Terribly sad, as the USA is the ONLY hope of the civilised worlds survival, when she falls, we will ALL fall.

    John.

Yes it is all Obama's fault, his 7 months of the Presidency have ruined all the amazing work Bush achieved...

Miguel, the reply Jon made, IMO, is in Jest. If not? like I said, it's MY own opinion that it was made in such a manner.

Well,it works for me but it takes you to the NY Post with a commentary on how the US has forgotten the lessons learned from 911.

When you consider the wanton printing of dollars coupled with the huge deficit, resulting in massive Federal borrowing, you are more right than you imagined. I lived through double digit inflation 30 years ago, you are about see what it is like.

    Really??

Slip, since 2006 the whte house stopped divulging how many dollars it printed yearly. Obama is merely prolonging the norm. Even before 2006 the US produced more fake dollars that any other nation in the world, dolars which are undistinguishable from the real ones i might add as they are made in the same fashion. in the 70's iran bought their F-14 fleet with fake dollars just as an example as the sheer ammount of fake currency circulating in the market.

    Hi miguel, yeah---realllllyyyyy.

How should I know how many Dollars are printed? I don't work for the US Treasury Dept. Why don't you seek out the nearest US Embassy and go in there and ask one of the people working in there that very question--I for one would be willing to listen (read) what you find out?

Now, what I would like to know, is when the hell were going to stop borrowing money from countries like CHINA---and get back to our grass roots as an indepenant Nation????? However, as long as Obamalama-Ding-Dong is in office--that will never happen. Instead, Jethrobama Bodiine is going to keep printing trainloads of Dollars to pay for HIS wild spending ways-that the majority of Americans are opposed to. Also, the "rot" thats been set in place with China-and for God known how many years???? is virtually impossible to reverse-unless these tick wads in Washington quit friviousy spending OUR money on BS.

I'd love the USA to not get exactly as the way we were before WWI, but somewhat close to it. I'd like to see our leaders stand up for a change and tell off some damned country and its leaders to go to hell-for complaining about how we do things over here. Also, it's none of their (foreigners) damned business on whether or not we should also close off our Southern Border-for the security of the USA. Im sure Portugal has its fair share of Border Agents????? and some sort of control of whomever comes across it's borders--yet I don't see anyone complaining about that--yet foreigners complain moan and groan and cry when they hear that the USA wants to put a stop to the flooding of illegal aliens across our Southern border. Oh--some wierd politically correct peacenicks complain that since were so tough (which is greatly laughable to say the least) on how we decide to control (or shall I say--SEVERE lack of control) of our Southern borders-against these illegal aliens. It's like a great storm of Locusts to Chinese farms and those Locusts are ripping apart their Crops. They found a way to beat back those Locusts, and we need to do the same thing.

Is there anything else you feel I need to rant on?

    Cheers.

I don't agree with the term 'muslim barbarians'. They are simply men fighting for there god and country just like the Americans in this century, and just like the Europeans during the Great Crusades. They should be considered guerilla's, or even terrorists but not barbarians.

Im pretty black and white on this one tomcat. I judge barbarian on how you treat your prisoners. Its usually a good rule of thumb. But i certainly do not class muslim race as barberous. We dont always have clean hands either.

Actually, the treasury departement used to divulge to several authorities how many dollars it printed in order for people to acess the true value of the dollar. This is important since most of the planet's raw materials are dealt in dollars. This is what W. stopped doing in 2006.

Borrowing money from China comes a long, long way back. Actually, the first bailout plan to rescue freddie Mac and Fannie mae were placed in order because the main shareholders of both companies is China's Communist party.
China has been buying US debt bonds in exchange for a share in your domestic market and they're succeding. I agree with you, it's something you should worry for, what happens if China cashes in the huge ammount of debt bonds they have? The economy pretty much collapses and a war is innevitable. Now do any of us really want to see a war between China and USA and whatever 3rd country joins? I sure as hell don't. this is what happens when you have years (not just Obama) of a domestic policy which tears appart your own industrial bases in order to turn to a market oriented economy.

If you allow a trade deficit to get low-cost goods there is no guarantee the Chinese or whoever are is going to invest the surplus internally especially when you have a US market that offers high interest rates to finance internal overspending.
Maybe I don't understand economics but it looks like the USA has been livving above it's means for years.

Hi Miguel, I can't argue with you on your last post and agree with it--all. That's just it< if they (China) ever decides to call in all the debt we owe them, we can't actually repay them in cash and our money by then, will probably be as worthless as German money was right after WWI. However, and IF you can call this a good thing? which I can't, we have a sort of "Buffer" for lack of proper words at this time) in that the Chinese own so much of stuff here in this Country-I.e. stuff that our Govt stupidly practically gave to them, that thye would then become full owners of that property. Oh yes, they might be willing to resell it back to us-but at a cost many many times much higher than they originally "bought" it for in the first place.

Also, the (the CHinese) are ticked off because (and so far-THIS is THE only thing I agree on that Obama-Lama Ding Dongs administration has managed to do so far) is to start leving a tax on Chinese goods imported. Alos, the Chinese have NEVER not once-been fair in trade practices with us in the first place. They import much much less American goods than we do their crap made goods. Yet, when we try to get them to import more-they cry like a baby not being bottle fed. At the same time, they still moan and groan that we are not living up to our end of the deal by importing more and more Chinese made crap products.

Im sick and tired of practically being FORCED into buying somehting "made in china" when that product used to be "Made in the USA" but no longer is because these American Companies decided to make huge profits at the expense of out Country. Crap companies like Wally World (aka) Wal-Mart-are chiefly responsible for this vast influx of sloppily and VERY cheaply made crap products from China.

Case in point, I neede some new Work Shoes recently. I bought two pair of shoes from wally world. I tried them on at the store befor ebuying--of course. Well, the first pair in less thana week-fell apart. They also for some unkn reason, do NOT have rubber on the insides under the very then and VERY cheap so called padding, but insterad where the rubber is supposed to be-its plastic. Needless to say, I was a bit perturbed. I thought that maybe ill give wally world a chance and try that product from them. Well, wally world failed miserably in that test.

I thought that I would give that 2nd pair of shoes a try-just in case the first pair was just one rotten apple in that barrell full of them. Well, this time it took less than one day-for these shoes to have aproblem crop up. This time, since it appears that whatever chinese worker made this particular pair of shoes) must not have applied enough glue to the areas they were supposed to as well as make sure certain plastic pieces were properly secured into place. The padding came up by just taking the shoe off, and plastic parts fell out of my shoes.

I was ticked off by that time, because not only did I pay a hefty price for shi# for shoes made in a country for a shi# for company, but I had to go back again to either get a refund or exchange for another pair of shoes. I wanted a refund. It took almost an hour of standing in line at their exchange counter-and then even after showing my reciept to them that proved i bought these two pairs of crap from that very store-the lady still gave me hell about it saying that I must have worn them much much longer than I said-and I then reminded her of the date on my reciept-which showed them that OI purchased their crap product made in a wally world sweat shop in china) and it showed that I had purchased them only 8 days before!

Anyway, my rants over about chinese crap made products for now. But I just wanted to let you know that I agreed with your last post.
