German HOI 3 AAR

I have just finished my civil research into Nuclear research and now capable of building a nuclear reactor. This reactor requires 60 IC to build and will take around a year to build, then I simply need to research the civil nuclear research level to 4 (I think it is ) Then I can build Nukes.

 

Just a quick update, as I will post some more screen shots tomorrow.

The entire of the North Russian defenders down to the outskirts of Leningrad have been either surrounded or destroyed, with my strategic bombers occupying an airfield that can actually bomb Moscow, this will assist in hitting the enemies every supply lines and stockpiled resources.

The Polish front is alive with breakthrough's and encirclements with an extra 250,000 men from the Murmansk front joining the fray, the center Russian line has almost collapsed and the enemy are rearing in disorganization trying to fill in the gaps.

The south has almost reached the outskirts of Sevastopol and my other strat bombers and tactical bombers are bombing the resources in the area.

The new plan for the south is to take the industry in the middle of russia either by destroying it or occupying it.

 

The last of the Russian defenders Far North Russia, I have moved most of the troops out of the area from murmansk and only a single Corp remains to clean up the providence.

The Complete and utter destruction of the Russian Centre line. The Russians have no reserves in the area, and my tac bombers are doing logistical missions on the flanking Russian forces to slow down there attempts at moving reinforcements to the line.

This picture is the bombing of Moscow, doing logistical strikes. The idea is to destroy the infrastructure around the main area of supplies, so even if the supplies are there they can not get them to the front, so over time the line will fall. You can also see the amount of supplies the Russians have available.

I have unfornately had a problem with my game, it appears that steam has auto updated my game, and since the new patch is not compatible with the old saved games, it has messed up with the inner workings of the game. It has also messed with my main game features since now I am losing battles I remember I was winning.

I am a bit annoyed since I was enjoying that game, but oh well.

The next game will be me as the USSR and the Red's attempt to take the world.

I think you can turn off the auto-update feature for specific STEAM games, though the 1.4 patch is quite good.

 

I like steam... well mostly. Impulse is more reliable but steam has a massive library.

 

For the most part. I'm still baffled as to why everyone has allowed Japan to annex, but goes into exile for everyone else.

I have to admit, annexing France on Joe was hilarious despite it being us messing with the file.

 

lol yeah - nothing like seeing Japan owning most of France WITH OUT HAVING ACTUALLY LANDED THERE! I still get a kick out of the 3 provinces in Syria you have...a little yellow in the sea of Green.

You going to be on tonight? Joe is on vacation remember so can play every night this week. We're anxious to get things moving along. I also found a small file/program that lets you modify your OOB by opening up the save game. It allows you to restructure your forces - basically something that takes FOREVER in game. Its like a Flow-Chart, but with your units, based on Command. Can even set the leaders etc.
