SS Veterans march through Riga

Yes all the SS, because nobody (maybe you can start with the SS survivors tomorrow) had the time to personally investigate on 900,000 members.

So instead of shooting them or hanging them straight away - the allies were kind enough to let them get of by being labeled as members of a criminal organisation. And instead of saying thank you and personally appologizing to the victims of the Nazis they prefer to play the "I never did anything wrong - I was forced to the SS" - "the Russians did the same" and hoping for a SS march were they can forward this perverted mindset.

So far I have not come across a former SS member who sincerly appologized and regreted his deeds and those of the Nazis and participates in SS marches.

And I promise you one thing - if there is indeed a fromer SS member that appologized he will certainly NOT walk along an SS veterans association or SS public march. Since he certainly would not like to associate himself with the ever yesterdays idiots.

A very famous German Cabaretist (Dieter Hildebrandt) I met him personally and my friends father were "drafted" members of the SS - do you really believe that they would ever join in on a SS march? - No those that join do not repent, or are simply still Nazis, or plain stupid.

To get a more deeper insight about guilt and denial you should read about Kurt Waldheim the former UN secretary - the part I really love is his verdict towards the Israelis upon entering Uganda to free the hostages - do yourself a favor and actually read the article.

All right guys, firstly this thread has now gone too far of topic, and yes I am to blame for that as well, and I apologise.

Second, this thread is now going to be closed, not because anyone disagrees with me, but because it is off topic, and because the views and opinions of some are being nothing but attacked but others. There is no Neo-Nazism, holocaust denying, SS worshipers here in this thread only people with different opinions about what a hero it, that is all.

Think in the future guys, just because you don't agree doesn't mean you are right, and doesn't give you the right to insult or attack other members.
