Hi! I am TheMerrillKid, but you can just call me Merrill. I am 19 years old and I write (a lot) I've only been published once, and that was a short story. I had always had a small interest for WWII since I was twelve, but only recently did that interest blossom. I've been wanting to write a book (hopefully) that takes place during WWII. Origins: I am from Canada. Specifics: I've been trying to research a lot about the radio operators on the airplanes. Hobbies: I write a lot. I watch movies too, some WWII. Other: I also did a little research on the Vietnam War. I like reading about the 50's and the 60's. I also know quite a bit about the Wild West (especially about Billy the Kid) So there, nice to meet ya! -Merrill
Merrillkid....I enjoyed your introduction and I am a hispanic in New Mexico who admires all veterans and war heros of our past but you sparked a special interest with an interest of mine as well. i am new to this forum as well. That is the subject of Billy the Kid notorious as a "bad guy" but not necessarily so amongst his friends who were often the Hispanics of New Mexico that were being displaced off their lands by the influx of settlers from the East. Of course this brings us to the subject of "The Lincoln County wars".
