I'm hoping someone will recognize this man

    This photo was also in the album I bought at a yard sale recently. Anyone recognize him or what his uniform and medals can tell me? Some of the photos were dated 1933 so I'm guessing this photo is from around that time period.

    The man is wearing the Imperial U-boat War Badge and his rank in the Kriegsmarine is Admiral. After a quick perusal of my files, I would say the man is Karl Georg Schuster, kommandant of U 60 in WW1. He sank 35 ships for 75000 tons. Schuster also was kommandant of Battleship Schleswig-Holstein between 1933-35.

    Its also a WWII photo note the EKI Spange.
