BBC News - Microsoft launch Internet Explorer 9 web browser I downloaded it 3 day's ago, and have not quite made my mind up, it seems to falter and stall..anyone else here using it, and had similar experiences...
Using Internet Explorer is like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer. If feels so good when you stop.
I think it's still in beta so that might explain the issues. I'm running the beta now, it's not perfect but it's still better than the previous version of IE and more comparable to Chrome and FireFox while still keeping elements from past IE's.
forget IE Ray got to firefox or something other, it will be under better virus protection anyway, IE is consumed
Chrome all the way... well mostly. I use Chrome 99% of the time, and when I need to check something in another browser, or have a problem with Chrome, I switch to Firefox. The only thing IE does for me is provide Windows updates...
I'll probably download IE9 when it goes off "Beta" and the real version shows up, and while I use 8, Chrome, and Firefox (on occasion) to be honest I don't much care for the Firefox. I use the Chrome as often as the IE8 I suspect, probably a 60-40 split with the Chrome on the long end.
I haven't used IE for years. I am committed to Firefox, and use Chrome on occasion. I don't expect to use IE9, although it will probably be magically updated on my machine at some point.
IE9, ehhhh I always like IE8. Google chrome is nice. Firefox nahhh Remember Ray, IE9 just came out and they prob have some kinks to work out. Same thing happened to IE8
thanks alex, I have tried the others, firefox, and google chrome, and expected blips I suppose? I'll stick with it for now..
