You guys are TOO leinient over there with crooks. I HOPE they find these despicable $^&**((((ards and break every bone in their feet, fingers and right arm, then make them go up and over "the sand pile" carrying 100 pound rocks to and fro. And then, to the the compost pile.
Oh man! Somebody earned themselves a one way ticket to hell! If I'm not mistaken though C, this happened in Maryland.
I don't see how these people that stole it can live with themselves. Stealing itself is bad, but from people who have risked there lives to keep us free, thats horrible. When these people are caught they should be punished for the rest of their lives, or get the death penalty. I cant believe how people could do this.
Chances are, are IF they get any kind of a sentence??? that they will only get a slap on the back of their hand as is what happened to the scumbag who kidnapped and raped MY now-ex-Fiancee.
These stories are becoming too common now. A few years ago some punks defaced all the plaques at the local Dieppe Memorial. Here is a picture: The people that do this probably don't even know a thing about the memorial's they're damaging - (hopefully) you would think that if they did, they wouldn't keep on damaging them.
Thank you Skipper ;-)) and fully agree. Also, if/when caught? they should also have to do a LOT of their probation-time doing community service at Vets homes and Hospitals and such. Maybe then, they will learn the errors of their ways and see how war had effects on the folks who fought in them.
Positively sickening. Makes you wonder if it's worth it sometimes. If there's anything I learned overseas it's that a lot of Americans are very, very spoiled. As far as the records, I am sure there is a list in the town registry or something (one would hope). Or you could look at the draft records, I suppose. Wonder if they have a group of individuals looking into that.
Oh they would learn alright-after lots of former Marines and other Vets get their hands on them for awhile ;-)
