It has to be the times zones. I've thought the same thing on several occasions, but then I realize it's only 10 on the west coast. It's probably the opposite for them though. I bet they wake up and log on in the morning only to think, who would post at 3:00 am?

I don't log off, so I'm apparently here 24/7. It's the Quaker cannon effect.

BTW, anybody know of a USN vessel that actually had a Quaker cannon installed?

I usually check things out when the nurses give me my meds and tighten the restraints.

The only reason I'm staying up lately is because I've been sick with a horrendous flu..:(

    Hi Bel/ Mike, OP/

Bel, speaking of furballs, Shasta perches herself on my lap every time I get in front of the computer and she's there sleeping now--with claws dig into one of my pants legs to keep from falling off.

<ike, you mean there is actually more than 4 time zones   I too sometimes forget such as when I see Brad or someone from that-a-ways, on here at my 2 am forgetting its midnight there. Ulrich has NO excuse though

OP/ what kind of cannon? is it a Sound Cannon? If so? your welcome to pace it in my front yard-so I can compete with all those playing Tejano music at the tops of their radios in my neighborhood. Funny thing though, THEY don't realize that their favorite music--Tejano, is GERMAN music played on stolen instruments.:lol:

    Hi B/G/Ul?

B/ that's they way it seems here. I have to take a pharmacies worth of meds just to keep from flipping out sometimes.

G/ you mean you have the Vienna Boys Choir living in your neighborhood? :wolf::lol::lol: :salute:

Ul/ one of the first things a Cop here will tell you when stopped for a traffic violation is: "that's no excuse",:lol:

Hi Maam, hope you get to feeling better soon? we have had bad cases of that going on around here and does not seem to be ending with the hot temps already here. This winter here has been a pretty warm one-and cannot be compared to the great one of last year-where we got snowed on at least twice, and the temps were appropriate or colder-according to the time of the year.

Here's another good Whiskey thing for you to remember-and my Dad did this to all three of my Brothers and my one Sister, as well as myself. That when we were infants, to stop us from crying because of teething, he dipped the nipple from one of our baby bottles, in Whiskey, then giving it to us. Needless to say, it worked. ;-))

I don't know Carl, 3 in the morning is pretty damn late. I am usually getting up about that time, but rarely get on the internets til after -6:30 after all my chores are done.

Well my time zone is now Mountain - we don't change but everyone else in does! I'm usually up latest on weekends if I really get into researching something or like last weekend trying to post photos to the cenotaph & memorial thread and getting frustrated because it doesn't always let me add the max number in one post or the extra information. If I post late on a week night, it may be the night before my Earned Day Off, a vacation day, or I've given up on trying to sleep and get on the computer until I feel sleepy enough to try again - and I usually know I can come here to play! I'm ony on in the daytime for days off or when I'm sick (not like Brad describes earlier though!).

Hole Cow Luke, the only thing worth getting up at that hour is, for the birth of a child, winning the lottery, or about to go on a long trip somewhere.
