Grandpa's Display

    I finally finished the display to commemorate my grandfather's service. As some of you know he fought in the Battle to retake Attu.

    That looks great Josh! Well done and great way to honor him.

    I have one similar to that that my one grandfather on Attu made for himself.

    My other grandfather that was on Kiska and Adak is a different story. He hated those islands and never cared to remember them much. He didn't care for the Army either, and at one point told me that he was thinking of going AWOL at the end of shore leave after he first met my grandmother! I still someday want to make a case for him as well. He never did see any fighting, but I'm still proud of his service.
