As the title says, im looking for books about Allied snipers (British or US) during WW2. In any of the theatres of the Pacific, Europe or North Africa. I've read Sepp Allerbergers book and planning to buy Zaitsevs book and i was thinking of having some allied accounts to balance my library out. Although i have to say you dont hear much about them as you do other more iconic snipers. Also i would be interested if there were books avaliable about Sniper rifles and tactics/fieldcraft of WW2. The equipment and know-how intrests me as much as the actual tales of their use
A classic of the genre is 'With British Snipers To The Reich' by Captain Clifford Shore, first published in 1948 ( and very rare ) but thankfully reprinted by Greenhill / Stackpole in 1997 ( ISBN 1-85367-292-0 ).
