    I saw that. Good show. You'd think with all the computer power that exists, it would be a cinch. A classic example of necessity being the mother of invention.

    One of the first 1/48 scale models I ever built as a child (or more properly didn't mess up in the building) was the Revell Dambuster Lanc. It was advertised as a motorized kit that would spin the Upkeep by engaging a switch. I built mine without the motor for some reason, probably to avoid cutting the hole for the switch.

    What puzzles me about the project was why it took so many unsuccessful tries with a spherical bomb before Barnes Wallis settled on the cylinder shape.

    I'd love to have seen the show - I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD.
