Hi there, My real name is Barend Kruger Youth Leader and a moderator of the Boer Nation (Boerevolk) Forum in South Africa (Boerevryheid). I have registered here to tell you about our Boer History and Perhaps learn some things about history in General from you as well. I was busy looking for information on the OXWAGON SENTINEL as all searches in Afrikaans (My Language) came up with one document I could kind of use, when I stumbled on this forum. I would like to know if anyone would object if I posted about the Boernation, or Volk as we say in Afrikaans, and about the struggle we have had as a Nation (Two Boer Republics) from the days England waged WAR against us in 1899 to 1903 and the repurcussions that followed, rules of engagement that were Broken such as the Geneva Convention of civilised warfare up to our involment in Word War 2 as the Union of South Africa, and up till now about the Genocide being committed against the Boers. May aim is not to offend but to make sure that a true account of our History is represented out there in the world should we truly die out as a nation. Thank you. BPK (Barend Paul Kruger)
We welcome differing ideas as long as they are presented politely and with respect to the views of others. Welcome to the forum.
How does one put the Like function you have under what you wrote into the forum? Is there a code or function that has to be written or activated. We have made comments in good posts about the "Like" button such as the one found in Facebook but this is the first time I see this on an actual discussion forum. I will only post what I can reference in History Books and will respect the view of others.
Please understand that our primary focus is on all facets of WW2. We are not a general history forum. That said, if you wish to post some aspects of South African history, especially as they relate to WW2, please do so. If your sole focus is on Boer/English relations, I'm not sure this is the right place for it.
My sole Purpose is not Boer/English relations. It is about aspects of WAR, Boer Concentration Camps also used in World War 2, Trench warfare first used by the Boers in the Anglo Boer War, Victories due to different Strategies used in WAR, South Africa's support of the Allies in WW2 in German West Africa and also the Rebellion of Certain Boer Generals against joining the allied forces in ww2 against Germany.. Are the things above ok.
Nice to meet you and welcome aboard. I enjoy reading about Churchill, and always enjoy reading and learning about his capture and escape from the Boers.
Welcome Paul, what about making posts about the South African contribution during WW2 ? This way you would talk about the Boerenvolk and follow the regulations of our forum. I have a deep respect for the Voortrekkers and Boeren in general . I have relatives in Joburg
I will do my utmost best to post as much info I can find about South Africa and World War 2. I have posted some info under concentration camps of the Boer War just to show you all that there is an underlying connection theory regarding all Warfare since the Anglo Boer War. The Third World War has apparently been Planned as well in a Book Called Pawns of the Game by Cuy Curr, W. I have a ww2 Doc that I think was part of the Kit used by the Allies. It is a original document about identifying Allied and Enemy Aircraft. I will gladly donate it to this forum as It has, I believe, Great Historical Value to you Guys. Just let me know were to Post it and it is yours no charge.
