I hope you won't mind me posting on your forum. I'm researching a BBC documentary about entertainment during WW2 and I'm looking for people who have interesting stories about attending performances. I'm particularly interested in: Performances abroad What it was like to see shows during conflicts What people made of the performances What people made of the performers Did anyone see anyone famous Was there a type of show which was particularly welcomed / dreaded Any amusing anecdotes would be gratefully received Our programme has a focus on ENSA, but I'm interested in hearing everything about anything. I can be contacted via this forum, alternatively my email address is chris.bower@bbc.co.uk and if you contact me via either of these methods I can give you a contact number or arrange to call you. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this message. Best wishes Chris
