Hi everyone, I recently went to watch the movie X-Men: First Class and in the last scene the bad guy gets killed by a Nazi coin he gave to the soon to be bad guy, Magneto ( I sound like a kid writing this ) See this link So, I just want to know and if I know myself, I'll probably want to buy a set of Nazi coins but there are some questions I want to ask. Are there reproduction of these Nazi coins? if yes, how do you tell? Are there any reference books out there about this? How many varieties are there? How much do they cost? Do you guys think that after this movie, the price of nazi coins will go up? hahahaha By the way, when I was in Munich recently, I stayed in a good friends home , and even though they dont like to talk about the war & hated it, I did see a single nazi coin on display ... it was kinda weird really. Also, I did google about this and came up with some sites. NAZI COINS Beutler Mnzen-3. Reich-Sammlermnzen http://www.ma-shops.de/deutschesreic...=Drittes+Reich Really appreciate for any input in this & thank you in advance Cheers, Ibrahim
it looks like a fake 20 phennig coin. Original coins were made from zinc for the small valutas (1, 2, 5, 10rph,). I don'tremmeber exactly but I thinl there were also 20 and 50 reich phennige. There was a bigger 1 Reichmark (nickel) coin and you'll have to check for a 2 and 5 because Inot sure. They are not worth much, due to large quantities produced andthey are regulary offered on email for a few euros a set .
You've posted on other forums this same message, too. It's a Paul Von Hindenberg, getting Nazi coins isn't that difficul :0
I have a coin that is made of pressed paper I guess when metal was getting scarce in Germany And yes it has the eagle and swatiska on it
The dealer site "ostfront" has third reich money sets, notes and coins... Also EBay has lots of coins as mentioned
