Can you ID civil rifles from the 1930's ?? I have an old .22 that has German written on it and I can not find any information about it from anyone. It is a single shot rifle and I can attempt to E-mail you the writting on it if you think you can find information about it. It is Gothic script so it is kind of hard to deciefer.

No it does not look at all like your gun Framer but thanks for posting the picture. The one I have is much more primitive. Most call it a zip gun.

I will e-mail you tonight PFCW. Thanks for offering to take a guess.

ok. i got your e-mail. i have multiple questions.1:eek:n the right side of the stock, dose it say rs or is it scrached out?2:do you have a pic of the wording right side up?3:are all the picks about the gun. i dont want to read what i dont want to...4: did u consider it beeing a traing rifle? depending on what left starts with in german. i can't say its even from WWII era. way too primitive. i mean, the first assalt rifle was made in WWII. the oldest wep was the K98 and that was still a bolt action. i'm sorry if i cant help you. i dont think its WWII. thats all the kind of questions i answer.
