    Colour archive footage of Adler Tag (Eagle Day). The name given by Hermann Göring to the first four days of the Battle of Britain, where he incorrectly predicted the RAFs defeat.

    Interesting bit of propoganda film...the countryside looks remarkably un-English, the RAF is nowhere to be seen, and some of those aircraft look remarkably like He111Es, not used operationally in the Battle of Britain.....;)

    Ditto, when watching it, it seems like a cinch to invade an empty England. There is no opposition at all and bombs are dropped at will in the middle of nowhere . The landscape makes me think of the plains of northern Europe. Not one Luftwaffe aircraft is lost or even hit.

    I Noticed A Lot Of Inaccuracies In That Film But One Thing That Caught My Attention Was The Unenglishness Of The Country Side And Good Point Too Martin The Use Of He111's In That Film Were Suspicious Indeed
