    Those are nice pistols and very rare! Alltough about 8000 Kongsberg Colts were made for the Wehrmacht, they were fielded under the designation" Pistole 657(n), only about 900 produced in 1945 were marked with the Waffenamtsstempel acceptance mark.

    that's pretty awesome, Norwegian made 1911s. Are there any other similar uses of allied weapons by Germany? I wonder how they managed munitions.

    Oh, yes , many Belgian "Liege factory" made weapons were validated by the Waffenamt for example. These small models were particulary appreciated by Luftwaffe pilots.
