Thanks, guys . I love doing design work but this one was special. Got to handle some very fine examples of the gun makers art. I visited Purdey and Boss in London before starting. Hard to tell but the guns are set at 45 degrees to show off the side locks. That splits on the two axis of the room so they are book matched. The individual slots are bandsawed out and lined in leather . These pictures were done before final set up, hence the gaps in the racks. Need to update. Forgot to add there are a number of Berettas, Sauers and Merkles as well plus American LC Smiths, Parkers and A.H. Foxes. I learned to shoot on a Parker 20 gauge, 5 1/4 pounds !!.
Wow and to think most women would want a fancy walk in closet, but I would much prefer your beautiful gun room!
You could make a beer commercial out of that...Reminds me of some of the American Gun episodes...I knew MrGTB was lying in the weeds, waiting to spring something big on us...What else has he up his sleeve?
Oh Happy Day !! Just received a box of Savage .303's ! Cousin talked to a guy who had a left over box. He did not need them since he doesn't use his 99 now. Only things is I have to get 20 deer with the 20 rounds. May have to fudge my numbers a little. Saw a few flights of Geese winging their way South today. 30 here 40 there, total of around 200 or so flying high and bucking the winds.
