The Ramones Have All Gone.

With the passing of Tommy, The Ramones have all gone.

Certainly brings it home to you...saw them twice ( at the Roundhouse and The Lyceum - both non-seated, get-right-down-the-front venues ) and they're memories I shall cherish.

 

I saw them at MK Bowl in the early eighties. Tommy was already producing and not playing by then. End of an era.

 

I didn't like that sound when I first heard it, but it grows on you. It's got that garage band simplicity that has legs.

 

I remember the first time I put that first record on during a party...instant hit!
