There's a thread I saw earlier today concerning donations to WW2F. On it, USMCPrice and a few others started talking about WW2F t-shirts. I've recently been on this website called Zazzle, where you can set up your own store for custom artwork you want to put on shirts, hats, posters, mugs, etc, and sell it for royalty. I personally would be thrilled if WW2F set up a Zazzle with custom WW2F and WWII related work, and I would definitely buy from them. I'm certainly not trying to force any of the Admins, Mods, or Trustees to get on this, I'm just curious as to who likes the idea of a WW2F online store. Comment if you do or don't.

This is a great idea! An online store like this would not only cultivate creativity and great new artwork, but it would also allow this forum to use the profits for upkeep of the website and possibly donate a portion to various foundations supporting veterans, such as the National Veterans Foundation. Not to mention all the new people these products could introduce to the forum. It would basically serve as offline advertising. In addition, we could have a whole new section of the forum for pitching new artwork for the store. Compensating people for their artwork might be a little tricky, but I think we could work something out, maybe just have that user's name spotlighted on the front page of the forum. All in all, that's a resounding yay from my corner.

That does sound interesting. You'll will need to ask Otto's opinion about this. He is in charge with the administrative matters.

I'm not opposed to the idea.
however , if it comes to donations--I prefer to do it directly.
