Well, if you exclude Belgium, there's only the one country and one time and date: 22:56 EDT on 20th July 1969. Brave chaps.

music and movies...i have said a few years ago that the British (Irish in this instance) are the funniest bastards in the world! The list of classics is just too long...(Only fools and horses is NOT the best british comedy ever).

You are correct, imo. I would suggest 'hancock's half hour' but there's a lot of choice. Dad's Army is still being shown as remains as good as when first broadcast.

Thanks a lot. It took me a long time to forget him, lots of hard work too. Now I'm going to have to start all over.

So, what kind of an accent do you have?

I think his marriage and our forum are incompatible.

Southern Mutt. A combination of Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina and Louisianan. People can tell I'm from the south, just not what part, however my accent isn't as pronounced as most other southerners. My wife is from Florida so her accent is southern but non-discript as well.

    Okay, two things:

What do you call a carbonated beverage, regardless of its flavor or brand?

What wording do you use when you tell others you are about to do something?
