This is by far my favorite from the User designed scenarios. The only problem with this is that you must play BOTH sides and well-I tend to favor the Russki. Oh I play the Axis as competently as possible but for some reason I really throw myself into Russki role. SO...this strategic level game poses the question "just how much better would have the RKKA have done if they would have had some competent management DURING Barbarossa? The answer would seem to be "MUCH better" and for all the weaknesses of the Soviet Divisions if they would have played a good elastic defense game they could have preserved much of their Western Armies. Then there is the Finnish question and from this game it seems obvious that if Finland goes active Leningrad falls. JeffinMNUSA
When I play this one again I will have to do "the Finns jump in" scenario. Even with Moscow taken the Soviets WON in this game-which suggests that sheer numbers, weather and inertia could have prevailed in 1941 had there have been some common sense leadership.
