To the rest of the world the Republican candidates seem to be mainly a bunch of otherwise sensible people forced to out-idiot each other by a couple of clueless front runners. In the UK it would be like The Conservatives taking on the whole UKIP agenda and then some whilst pandering just to the UKIP base.

 

Let me qualify this first: I'm no particular fan of Trump. While I'd vote for him (or anyone else for that matter) before Shrillary, who I see as possibly the worst major party candidate for President since the US was formed as a nation, I'm not someone who has partisan support for him.

Anyway, Trump is electable, regardless of what the Left leaning press and Democrats claim. How do I know? Because they say the exact same things about Maricopa County's sheriff Joe (Joke) Arpaio. He's been on the national stage for some time now as the self described "America's toughest sheriff." He had a short lived nationally syndicated television show. He gets in the media and press all the time.
He also does the same sort of antics Trump does right now. He, like Trump is doing, says all sorts of over-the-top stuff. He dismisses his opponents in coarse terms. He drives the press and media crazy and they often respond hysterically to his speech and actions.
But, Arpaio also gets elected, and elected, and elected.
I don't like Arpaio. He costs the county I live in millions in payouts for lawsuits against him. The county pays millions more for his mistreatment of prisoners in the jails. It is money that shouldn't have to be spent on defending or fixing what that buffoon does.

Trump is very much like Arpaio in style. He connects to far more people than the press or Left would have you believe. I saw an article yesterday that as many as 20% of Democrats... Democrats not Independents or Third party voters would vote for him before Shrillary. The Progressives, MSM, and Democrats might think Shrillary is electable, but I say she isn't. She has more baggage than a major international airport and people know it.
Trump says crazy stuff. He's over the top too. But, he doesn't have a train wreck decades long to contend with. Shrillary does. Trump also isn't personally dislikable, Shrillary is. She's about as likable as Richard Nixon after Watergate.

I use Arpaio as an indicator to how Trump would do nationally because Arpaio's been there and been popular on the national stage more than once. If a local buffoon of a sheriff can do it, I think that a multi-billionaire with a flair for celebrity can do it too.

 

I guess the non-whites hate him because he is white?? or maybe because he made something of himself, and doesn't whine because they can't graduate high school ....poor ''victims''.....they hate the rich white MAN because why??? because the whites graduate from school? the teachers are racists? ?? they're rich and the non-whites are poor?? who's fault is that?? I'm poor, not rich at ALL...I don't hate rich people personally...o Trump the rich white man doesn't understand them, doesn't help them, doesn't like them, etc etc....B FREAKIN S.....why do the women not vote for him?

Simply talking about race doesn't make a person racist...racisim is a real thing...we "have" differences...it gets bad when the observation is irrational and wrong...based on something else.
All this "positive discrimination" is racist...
Organisations based on a race...is racist.
Making decisions based on race is racist...saying "I don't like aboriginal dancing its boring" - is a comment on their "culture" not race so that sort of observation is not racist (unless its made on the basis of race).
Most races haven't experienced "REAL" racism, they have experienced discrimination based in race...real racism...well if you look at the KKK or Hitler, theres the problem.
Everybody gets discriminated against, its in our nature and has kept us alive by doing it...but those who have an insecurity (whether it be skin colour or big ears) will automatically attribute the discrimination to their insecurity rather than what might really be the problem eg im not letting you in because your black...im not letting you in becasause you haven't respected people by dressing well and you stink!"
Racism wasn't even a word 150 years ago...wasn't on anyones radar...it was the slave trade and later immigration to the successful countries that brought matters to a head...living amongst your own "kind" is as natural as any other animal...wolves don't hang out with jackals etc etc...so we have an "unnatural" situation wher more than one race is living in close proximity...and countries like England the US and Australia are able to make this bloody work!
Far from racist and intolerant, we have achieved something that would be thought as unthinkable elsewhere...
