Hello everyone, I have just joined the forum and I am hoping someone can help me out with an explanation of the last line of my father's service record. It says this:

Posted to 'Y' list (e) (ACC) wef 25 Aug 45 on despatch to Ro 3 (not sure on this word) MCU on 24 Aug 45.

I understand 'Y' list is for injured servicemen but my father's record does not mention any health problems. I know "wef" means "with effect from". I've seen various definitions for ACC and MCU but they don't seem to match. He was in Anti-Aircraft batteries, then became a cook.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Neil
