So back in 1939 or 1940 my grandfather's brother was honoured with a medal called the Muistomitali, which I think translates to Commemorative medal. But for unknown reasons he never received it so I just wondered if it is possible for one of his closest relatives to receive this medal know when he has passed away?

For anyone interested here is how the medal looks

Not sure if it's still available, but a name would be helpful.

You may want to ask our member Kai Petri.

I was looking through the internet and found his name in a list of people who earned this medal but never received it. His name was Johannes Ulaska.

I was actually thinking about visiting that store in Helsinki! It seemed like a cool store.
