If your using this kit, use the parts with the red dots. The kit is for the m-10 platoon, don't know if there is a single.

I am very impressed with amount of detail for such a small scale. I have a tough time with my 1/72 scale, forget 1/100!

    Great job, keep it up

Thanks! I have been painting miniatures (fantasy and sci-fi) for going on 25 years now, so I don't have much of an excuse with the small scale stuff.

If I were to paint a 1/48 or bigger, I'm sure it would look like I used a crayon while drunk.

The idea is that it forces one to use them sparingly and judiciously. This limitation might change once we move to XenForo.

Hey, update on my next project, the Achilles....there isn't much of an update. I finally got hold of the specific model I wanted to help replace the parts I messed up on the original, but life's been keeping me busy with other projects at the moment. I hope to get it started again by the end of the month. Once I get going, I should have it done within a work week, but we'll see.

Looking for a hobby. Want to cancel cable as it is mostly tosh. TV is zombie food.
Used to build. Would make a model then not paint it...Made a big Spitfire, and smaller Bismarck.
Also bought the Red Barron Triplane and the Sopwith Camel (flown by Snoopy).
There were these coloured parts for crazy hot rods- monsters behind the wheel of old Tbuckets etc.
Anyone remember those old monster eyeballs and shifters

    I do remember...I think.

As for a hobby, if you want to build models, start off easy and cheap. Something to get you going on it. You know, like your first hit of crack--just a bit to start out (sarcasm).

However, I'm not canceling TV yet. :)

    Models/crack- ill pass.
Saw a doc on the ukulele, thinking that would be cheaper and easier on the body.
Apparently the uke was a huge hit back in the day.
    Goodbye cable, hello uke.

Thorvir, my plan is to have a more developed model section after the move. It will be a bit better for showcasing your work.

Poppy, try the harmonica. Its cheap, portable, and you can't really play it "wrong". Seems like the perfect instrument.

Tried the harmonica...It was in some crazy pitch. Thinking it should be in a blues tone.
The uke can be played with easy knowledge of a few chords.
The doc i saw showed big classrooms of kids playing. It was community.
To make music easily and lovely, like this guy-
