Sorry wm., my post had nothing to do with Bernie, merely used the link to convey Trump's assessment of the situation.

My query was to do with the existence of CHAMPUS, which Takao has kindly informed me is now called Tricare.

My interest there was I used to be a Health Benefits Advisor for the CHAMPUS programme which was so convoluted. I do hope the Tricare program is simpler (but I doubt it). I despised that part of my job back in the 90's. It wasn't easy telling people that the military just didn't pick up the whole tab for their health care, just a percentage. I was the messenger that had to tell them they were still due thousands of dollars and then try to comfort some very broken and disillusioned patients.

And as others have pointed out the system has been a mess long before Obama's time.

 

It's just part of his SOP, When it's clear he's loosing he tries to throw out something off topic but controversial to distract attention from the fact that his previous position has been thoroughly discredited. Typical of an under bridge dweller.
