The plot to assasinate Hitler by Claus von Stauffenberg - looks like it could be worth a watch, especially as it's directed by Kenneth Brannagh. Not sure about Tom Cruise being in it though :realmad:
Thanks for the link Kelly, i was surprised to see Eddie Izzard & Stephen Fry in the cast ... :ahg: Is it a comedy ..
:wtf:I don't think Tom Cruise does comedy! A lot of it was filmed in Berlin, and it looks like it should be quite a good movie. Provided it doesn't get sexed up by Hollywood
I think that this should be a very interesting movie to watch although I am not a fan of Tom Cruise. I will still watch it after all it is not about who is in the movie but the topic.
Having Tom Cruise in a lead role will lessen the likelihood of me seeing this movie, unless it is offered in such a way that I will not have to cough up hard earned cash to see it. I cannot see Cruise as von Stauffenburg. He is too short and personally never did like his acting.
Just bought this movie at a great price, really enjoyed the story seen through a long documentary YouTube - Fegelein Teams Up With Claus von Stauffenberg
Well i saw this film and to be honest i was a little sceptic knowing that Tom Cruise was taking the leading role, well i soon lost my scepticism and was soon into my niblets. Great film and would fully recommend this to all the doubters out there. :thumb:
Im not a Cruise fan either but I too thought he did well as the Colonel Count. Most of the actors DID look like who they were portraying. The Germans also came out with a new film about this subject and did so shortly after Valkyrie came out.
