Quite some time ago I found a website that is extremely interesting, and informative dealing with WW1. I used it for several projects back when I was in college, and was pleased to see it is still available. It is: World War I - Trenches on the Web I eventually hope to write a book set during WWI, and I'm sure I'll use this site as a resource.
This is a great website! I just poked around it a little bit and what I found most interesting was the 2008 battlefield tour they have planned for next May. It sounds like a *wonderful* trip and it lasts from the 20th until the 31st, so a nice long trip. How I would love to join the group!
Yeah i just checked on to this site - An History of the Great War of 1914 to 1918 presented in internet format. Contains various articles and features from authors around the world about the World War 1. Very knowledgeable site if one wish to know about WW1. Please be aware that this is a hi-bandwidth site.
Great resource for anyone wanting to learn about the first world war. Hmmm.... well I'm on a dinosaur dialup and didn't have a lot of trouble with the bandwidth, so it's not nearly as bad as some sites I've seen.
Thank you! that really is a great site! I also found a wonderful site that I thought all of you might be interested it. It is about the famous Haller's Army. here is the link: Haller's Army, The Polish Army in France in WWI also known as the Haller Army - The Blue Army
i think we can cover everything on Ww2 but i dont think its good linking other websites on here dont mean too be nasty
Hallo... It's actually common practice, linking to other sites within posts. We are a community here and we´ll always come back even after we visit those links. There are a lot of interesting and informative ww1 and ww2 sites out there too and itś simpler to link to them. Hopefully, when war44 matures, a lot of sites will also link to our posts. Thanks.
Linking is a good way to cover stories. You can't cover the whole story by just talking about it. You might miss some important facts about the story. Beside's we are not going there and leave war44 alone. I think this is the best war forum for me, because it covers topics in other countries.
My best wishes for you.I hope your books will give you a great success in your life.I had visited the site & I must appreciate your choice. You can also get a lot of information about 1st world war at www.firstworldwar.com.:thumb:

Hi Great site here. It is showing quite a good information on WWI. It is great to see of the rarer information.
