Nella Last was the lady that Victoria Wood based the drama 'Housewife 49' on. I would love to read her account of her war in her own words. I remember reading somewhere that there is a book of Nella Last's diary either already in print or soon to be.

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get a copy from please?

It appears to be very intresting and I may just have to check it out myself. Hope that helps!

This is one I have not read yet. I love to read true accounts of the war. This is great because I have a gift certificate for Amazon so I am going to head over and get this one. I will let you know how it is. Thanks for finding it.
