From Sept 11th (Yeah I know...) I am on a 7 week course which if I pass will mean I become a Points Fitter rather than a mere Support Tech, unfortunately that will mean I'm back on days  , having to brave the vagueries of UK public transport  and my journeys to and from work will take twice as long  .

What spare time I have will probably be taken up with revising, so I'm not likely to have too much time to spend on here since I really want to pass this course as the pay rise between Support Tech and Point Fitter is considerable and it's the first course on the way to becoming a Signals Technical Officer, after only four months in the job it's a real chance to prove myself.

    Wish me luck.

Good luck, Simon. I don't know how we'll manage without you, but we'll try!

Hope you still find time to cremate a little bread. ;) :D

Irony is, with night racing now finished in the U.K. I am going to be getting home 3 hours earlier every night, starting Friday.
Becky will wonder who it is at the door! ;)

Good luck, Simon. I have no doubt that you can make it, and I hope you'll rejoin us soon, enjoying the comforts of a pay rise. ;)

"Becky, huh? I wonder what she calls the other one" :D
