I'm not aware that anyone suggested Tunic was related to you either, however I would suggest that comments like:

speak volumes about the immaturity and poor attitude of the individual concerned, but then it's not like it's the first time we've read similar xenophobia either. :roll:

No-one was making serious digs about appearances in any of the threads, the comments I read were a bit of light hearted fun, nothing more serious. Don't take it to heart. If you or Tunic can't take it without resorting to insults (in his case), perhaps you're better off not posting pictures in the first place.

I am not feeling insulted by being compared to an excellent cast of an excellent show, I am not mad at u guys im mad at Will for over reacting you have to remember he is just 21 and kind of provincial. this used to be my favorite site on the internet but now I shudder everytime I get a message reply notification. accutally i was really asking how is she and when do you thinkshe is going to die. She got to be at least 90. And i dont think i will apoligize about this. I was actually asking a question. Long live the Queen. Hey im sorry you took it that way.

 

Sometimes its the way you ask them. Saying "when do you think she is going to die" is hardly polite -- its more as if you are hoping for a legacy. If you really took any interest in the British Monarchy, you would know that this country, together with many other countries in the British Commonwealth, celebrated Her Majesty's 80th birthday this year.

 

Please everybody lets keep focussed.

OK, change of subject, how is the January 12th/13th 2007 Ardennes project progressing KP? You did promise us photos of the planned battle area.

well the photo in the heading German Soldat was taken in the battle of the bulge in Arkansas battle area. but the rest need to be resized to get sent to the forum. I need to take the pix of the whole darn woods and publish it . its really quite remarkable that I live on this piece of land.

Battle of the Bulge

yes, the signs are made and the bunkers progessing, part of the land has changed ownership but were still good to go. at last count 60 reenactors had committed. its all us poor ones who cant afford to go to the Gap in Pennsylvania about 1100 miles or more away. several vehicles are promised too.

 

Sounds like a great (can I say kick-ass?) event!

to tell you the truth I am nervous about it. after all we have hosted only one event, and I am right up there as far as praise or blame to assign.to add to that i have to live here with the people whose lives will be most disturbed by massive gun fire. we are near enough to inhabitants of the region that they will hear the MG and other weapons

 

dont worry Kriegspfarrer, i been hosting events for over 5 years. This is going to be good, as in Bridge to Far, "only the weather can stop us now." Gen. Browing love that movie

Actually we are in the Ouachita Mtns, we are more than 150 miles form the Ozarks. And what do you mean by dog patch. Also dont listen to him, there is no live fire. Its a simple WWII Reenactment. Thats ALL!!
