This photo has been on rotten.com for at least 2.5 yrs, I know cause I downloaded this picture to use as an avatar for my forums in Americas Army. I had a buddy in my clan animate the pic to give a 'Boom Headshot" effect. I dont recall the story he tells here, but its no where in resemblance to what I remember reading about the pic. Check for yourself. www.rotten.com I kinda remember a tank having something to do with his demise!

Rotten.com, a website truly named after the morality of it's target audiance. I would advise anybody who reads this to not subject themselves to this cesspit of E-filth.

    ;)

Please do not post such disrespectful pictures... but if you simply must... Allow others to do the same

Actually your point is not well made. This is Revere's opening post:

    I underlined a bit...

    Not quite gloating.

Trying to score points like this is not appreciated, though I understand the point you are trying to make regarding the other topic.

Revere was right, though; the photo is quite sickening. War is a rotten, filthy business, and always has been. This is why it should be avoided whenever possible. However, it cannot always be avoided, if only because one side or the other in a crisis does not think war is a bad thing. Yes, I find that idea insane, but it does exist nevertheless.

The gloating was not necessarily on the part of Revere, and although I am willing to give him the benefit of doubt i wonder WHY this thread was posted in the first place?

I also wonder WHY displaying pictures of downed American aircraft are locked... However displaying a video of a dead insurgent yields results like...

    Sickening...

Whether the deceased individual was evil or not, he died fighting in a war... In my eyes, this automatically makes him more respectable than a 12 year old who looks up pictures of 'deadies' on the internet and has a good laff

You guys like beating a dead horse dont you? calling me a 12 year old, while you show the immaturity in continuously posting in which Roel & Ricky have both said I wasnt gloating (this is about the 3rd time Ive had to do this).

Also i'm not 12, and didn't do anything to deserve be scolded by some fat 50 year old.
